In your forest trails; you may also come across some of the additional natural inhabitants belonging to the region, which includes diverse bird types, chimpanzees, golden monkeys, bush buck, duiker and maybe even leopard.

The search throughout the dense rainforest could take anything from one hour to 4 hours, according to the location where the Uganda gorillas like to move to on that particular day. Even though they will have daily routines, they are continually moving around looking for food, so do not really stay very long within a certain spot, unless it is to sleep for the night.

Trips to the family groups of gorillas are usually limited to eight people per group and the visit normally takes 1 hour.
