Ever been on holiday to Spain? A lot of people hit up Spain in the summer months as the weather in Britain is unpredictable and usually rainy! A trip to Spain is a great chance to top up your tan, eat some delicious tapas and wallow the days away without a care in the world. This is what holidays should be all about - relaxing to the max in the sun watching the world go by. There are loads of great coastal towns in Spain which make for the perfect holiday respite.

The Canaries are rather popular when it comes to winter holidays, which comes as no surprise seeing as this collection of islands perch just off the coast of Africa, which we all know is a very hot country! Fuerteventura is one of the largest, and offers visitors a truly unique holiday experience.

There's nothing better than going for a long winter walk wrapped up in coats, scarves and gloves. That is unless you're heading to Spain, where you can enjoy a rather temperate climate and enjoy coastal walks in shorts. Lovely. Spain is so easy to get to as there are competitive flights all the time, so finding a bargain need not be a difficult task.

Fuerteventura holidays are perfect for those wanting to have a little bit of relaxation. Walking in the south of the island certainly has its rewards - away from the roads Jandia has some of the finest sandy swathes in Europe. If I were you, I would source out a holiday to the Canaries as soon as possible, it's beautiful!

Soaring mountains, hidden sapphire coves and rugged pine-clad coasts make Mallorca one of the most photogenic destinations in the Mediterranean. Energetic hikers can take in jaw-dropping coastal views from the Serra de Tramuntana where the mountainous landscape drops suddenly into the sea or gives way to sheltered sandy bays. In the east, the rocky coast is pitted with caves and idyllic sandy nooks that can only be reached on foot.
